Warranty: Our products have a standard industry warranty provided by each
independent installer. The installer will warranty a professional installation to proper
specifications, as per their certification training.
Compared to other countertop materials, how durable is it? The interior
Countertop re-Surfacing Systems are installed with a commercial grade, non-porous top
coat that is food safe, heat resistant to 500 degrees (non-constant), and will not crack. It is
very stain resistant, repairable, and does not have to be re-sealed once installed. It also
cleans up with standard home products like 409 or Windex type products and a soft cloth.
The exterior Countertop re-Surfacing Systems are installed with an intense UV protective,
high-build sealer that is equipped to withstand exterior elements.
How is it installed? In simple terms. Our countertop system is a re-surfacing
system that is applied in several thin layers over existing Formica, tile, or natural
surface...as well as new construction re-surfacing over a wood base. The coloring is then
applied and the top coat completes the installation.
How does it compare to other countertops price-wise? Countertop re-Surfacing
Systems install by the square foot at an average range of $33 - 36 sq ft over surfaces such
as Formica, cultured marble, Silestone, Corian, and similiar surfaces, $42 - 46 sq ft over
tiled surfaces and new construction projects...complete.
You can easily acquire natural stone in this range, but will pay additional fees for installation
of the stone. There are suppliers that periodically offer natural stone installed at a reduced
price, but you are limited to what they have in stock and it is common and widely available,
often at the minimum thickness for countertop use. Our coloring systems are customized to
your specifications and the possibilities are infinite.
Additionally, in most cases, no tear-out of existing counters is necessary...this translates to
additional cost-savings for the homeowner/homebuilder.
